We are pleased to inform you that DC-Software program DC-Vibro for soil improvement by stone columns now supports rigid inclusions and punching:

Rigid Inclusions (stiff colums) with load transfer downwards

Load transfer layers with punching of the columns in upward direction

Punching of the columns downwards

The approach of Priebe 2003 for floating foundations is used.

1 = Load distribution layer with punching of the columns upwards

Settlement analysis upwards over a reversed bearing capacity calculation

2 = Rigid Inclusions: stiff columns with load transfer downwards

3 = Punching of columns downwards

Application acc. to Priebe 2003 for floating foundations

Definition of material parameters of Rigid Inclusions (Ecm, fck, γM) possible by soil layer

Verification of the internal load bearing capacity of the columns analogical to a non-reinforced concrete element
